Iteca Exhibitions is a leading organiser of international exhibitions and conferences, as well as a full member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), the European-Uzbek Association for Economic Cooperation (EuroUz), and the American Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan (AmCham).

Since organising its first B2B exhibition in 1995, the company has been a pioneer in the development of the exhibition industry in Uzbekistan. Over the past 29 years, Iteca Exhibitions has firmly established itself as a key player in the international exhibitions and conferences market in the country. Today, the company's portfolio includes 20 international exhibitions and 4 conferences, attracting over 4,000 exhibitors and 3,500 delegates from 57 countries, as well as over 105,000 visitors annually. For many years, the majority of Iteca Exhibitions' events have been held at the Uzexpocentre NEC, with which the company has a longstanding partnership. This historic venue has become the starting point not only for Iteca Exhibitions' business, but also for the entire exhibition industry in Uzbekistan.

Iteca Exhibitions, formerly known as ITE Uzbekistan, has become one of the largest British investors in Uzbekistan, having invested significant funds in the reconstruction of Pavilion 1 of the Uzexpocentre. Fruitful cooperation with the National Exhibition Company "Uzexpocentre" continues to develop on the basis of strong business and partnership relations.

Uzbekistan's economic growth in recent years has contributed to an increase in the number of exhibitors and visitors to international exhibitions. As a result, the company faced a shortage of exhibition space to accommodate large projects, which led to changes in the exhibition calendar. For example, the exhibitions UzFood, AgroWorld Uzbekistan, MebelExpo Uzbekistan, AquaTherm Tashkent and TextileExpo Uzbekistan began to be held as separate events on different dates, which affected the overall exhibition schedule of Uzexpocentre NEC. However, these measures only temporarily solved the problem of space shortage.

At the same time, the continuing growth of Uzbekistan's economy has increased the demand for exhibition space from other organisers.

The new state-of-the-art venue CAEx has opened up new opportunities for major exhibitions. After lengthy negotiations, key agreements have been reached, and Iteca Exhibitions is ready to announce that it plans to hold a number of exhibition projects at the new location in 2025, including:

  • Uzbekistan Construction and Interior Week: UzBuild - Construction, BuildTech - Building equipment and technologies
  • TIHE - Healthcare,
  • Uzbekistan Energy Week: OGU - Oil and Gas Uzbekistan, Power Uzbekistan - Energy, Energy Saving, Alternative Energy Sources
  • CAITME - Textile Machinery and Technologies

At the same time, Uzexpocentre NEC will remain an organisational partner and the main venue for key exhibitions of the company in the autumn season of 2024 and during 2025.

As part of the unified Uzbekistan Construction and Interior Week brand, the following exhibitions will be held at the same time:

Uzexpocentre NEC

  • UzBuild (Interior section), MebelExpo Uzbekistan, HomeStyle&Gifts

The Exhibition Complex CAEx
  • UzBuild и BuildTech

Iteca Exhibitions plans to use its extensive experience and business reputation to organise participation and attendance at the new venue, which will strengthen CAEx's position and unlock the full potential of the new exhibition complex.
In addition to these two venues, the conference halls and other facilities of Tashkent's largest hotel complexes are being considered for conferences and forums.

Iteca Exhibitions is currently preparing for the opening of the autumn exhibition season, which will begin with the 15th anniversary Central Asian International Textile Machinery Exhibition – CAITME 2024. The opening ceremony of the exhibition will be held on 11 September at the Uzexpocentre Exhibition Centre, Congress Hall.

The autumn calendar also includes anniversary exhibitions as TransLogistica, which will celebrate its 20th anniversary, and Securex Uzbekistan, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary. UzTextileExpo will be held under this brand for the last time, after which next year it will return to its original name TextileExpo Uzbekistan, with which it began operating in 2004.

In 2025, the company plans a series of rebrandings and launch of new projects, including the new MebelExpo Uzbekistan brand, HomeStyle&Gifts exhibition, as well as a revamped Beauty Uzbekistan exhibition in the BeautyDerma Central Asia format.
