President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev appointed Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade on 28 January.

According to the presidential decree, Sardor Umurzakov was appointed as Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Prior to that, he served as chairman of the Uzcharmsanoat Association.

The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan is created by merging the State Committee on Investments and the Ministry of Foreign Trade.
