Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev appointed Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan on 31 May 2018.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Colonel Tohir Aripov was appointed to the post of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.

Prior to this appointment, he worked as head of the Main Directorate of Patrol and Guard Service and the protection of public order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
