The growth of the economy of Uzbekistan in 2019 will make up 5.5%. This was stated in a new World Bank report on the economies of Europe and Central Asia (ECA).

Earlier, World Bank experts predicted that Uzbekistan’s GDP in 2019 will grow by 5.3%.

The bank’s experts raised their forecast for Uzbekistan’s GDP growth in 2020 by 0.2 percentage points to 5.7%.

At the same time, the World Bank maintained its forecast for economic growth in Uzbekistan in 2021 at the level of 6%.
