Iteca Exhibitions — 30 Years at the Forefront of Uzbekistan’s Exhibition Industry

Iteca Exhibitions — 30 Years at the Forefront of Uzbekistan’s Exhibition Industry

Since its establishment in 1995, Iteca Exhibitions has played a pioneering role in shaping a modern exhibition industry in independent Uzbekistan — one built around international participation and aligned with global standards. Over the past three decades, the company has introduced practices and benchmarks comparable with those of the world’s leading organisers, securing Iteca Exhibitions a position of stable and undisputed leadership within the national exhibition sector.

The company’s journey began with its inaugural events — Tashkent International Healthcare Exhibition (TIHE) in 1995 and Oil & Gas Uzbekistan (OGU) in 1997. Over time, these exhibitions evolved into landmark events for the entire Central Asian region. Today, Iteca Exhibitions’ portfolio includes 20 events, each a flagship within its field and a trendsetter shaping the future of key economic sectors.

These events enhance Uzbekistan’s visibility on the global exhibition map, strengthen the country’s image as a reliable business partner, and demonstrate the dynamic pace of its economic development. UzBuild, UzFood, CAITME, TIHE, OGU and TextileExpo Uzbekistan have earned the status of national brands and enjoy strong recognition far beyond the country’s borders.

The exhibition industry has long served as a barometer of progressive change in the country, reflecting professional maturity and the business community’s readiness for development. Today, the market is evolving rapidly: new organisers and venues are entering the field, while modern event formats are redefining expectations and setting higher standards for the industry as a whole.

At the core of Iteca Exhibitions’ mission lies a firm commitment to supporting national economic development — a principle reflected in the company’s slogan: “Iteca Exhibitions is proud to contribute to the growth of Uzbekistan’s economy!” Over the years, its exhibitions and conferences have driven positive momentum across sectors ranging from security and electronics to construction, energy, and both light and heavy industries. Each event serves as a platform for knowledge exchange, partnership building and the promotion of innovative solutions.

Participant surveys confirm that for many companies, exhibitions organised by Iteca Exhibitions have become a vital gateway to the Uzbek market, providing direct access to buyers, distributors, professional associations and government institutions, enabling the formation of sustainable commercial relationships, contract signing and exploration of future projects.

In 2025, Iteca Exhibitions marked its 30th anniversary season with an exceptional programme comprising 20 international exhibitions, four major forums and 36 specialised seminars. The events welcomed 4,311 companies and brands, 251 speakers and moderators, and 3,957 delegates from 55 countries. With a total of 101,160 visitors from 75 countries, the season highlighted the truly international scale and long-term significance of the company’s events.

Throughout the 2025 season, industry professionals explored cutting-edge innovations across a wide range of sectors. Alongside global leaders and renowned international brands, a strong representation of domestic manufacturers demonstrated the achievements of Uzbekistan’s industrial enterprises and strengthened their export potential.

A defining milestone of the season was the organisation of exhibitions at two major venues, adding new dynamism to the industry calendar and reflecting both the scale of events and the growing intensity of business activity. Thousands of negotiations, meetings, partnerships, agreements, contracts and project launches took place, generating transactions exceeding USD 1 billion. Dedicated networking and business zones enhanced participation efficiency and fostered a high level of commercial trust.

Since 2007, Iteca Exhibitions has been a full member of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), becoming the first company in Uzbekistan to receive this distinction. UzBuild, OGU / Power Uzbekistan and TIHE / Beauty Uzbekistan have once again retained their UFI-approved status, confirming their effectiveness and contribution to national economic development.

The achievements of the anniversary season set ambitious benchmarks for the future. In 2026, the exhibition calendar will expand to 22 exhibitions and 5 conferences, alongside new initiatives aimed at supporting domestic manufacturers, attracting investment and strengthening key economic sectors.

As it concludes its 30th anniversary season, Iteca Exhibitions expresses sincere gratitude to ministries, government bodies, industry associations, partners, exhibitors, visitors and media representatives for their engagement and continued support.
